Creating New "Supported Modular Home Communities"
Allia Future Homes are custom-building modular home communities on permanent sites, or temporary sites that are loaned at low or no cost. They have led three successful projects to provide low-cost, high-quality homes as move-on housing for those experiencing homelessness, single adults with challenges like former rough sleepers. Lewis Herbert, Manager at Allia Future Homes, will present a talk focussing on the planning and site development of the projects and target locations in East England. Allia are looking for further potential urban sites and partnerships.
“The evidence suggests that providing modular homes in tandem with robust support services has the potential to improve outcomes for people experiencing homelessness”
